The Admission Office is located on the first floor of Eliot Hall. Please arrive to campus approximately 10 minutes before your first scheduled activity.

Reed College complies with all state and federal mandates in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Reed campus visitors are also required to either be fully vaccinated according to CDC COVID-19 guidelines OR show proof of a negative PCR or antigen COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of their visit.

Additionally, if you or any of your guests show symptoms consistent with COVID-19 on the days leading up to your visit, please call our office to cancel or reschedule.

You will receive a confirmation email after you submit your registration, which will include a link to cancel or edit your registration if needed.

Round out your campus visit with an overnight stay, which includes spending the night on-campus while being hosted by a Reed student. Overnight visits are offered most Sunday-Thursday nights during the academic year and are reserved for seniors in high school.

Interviews are an opportunity for you to speak individually with one of our admission counselors or student interns in a relaxed setting for approximately 20 minutes. Interviews are available for seniors in high school and prospective transfer students.

OVERNIGHT STAY POLICY

Please review the following expectations before signing the agreement:

I am aware that although Reed has agreed to host me overnight, neither the Office of Admission nor any other office or personnel of Reed College will be supervising me during my stay on campus. Visiting students are responsible for their behavior at all times while on the Reed campus.

I am aware that participants in on-campus visitation programs are required to abide by Oregon state law, federal law, and the rules and regulations that govern Reed students. I acknowledge that Oregon law prohibits all use of illegal drugs and prohibits the drinking of alcoholic beverages by persons under 21 years of age.

Further, I understand that my behavior during my campus stay may be considered by the Office of Admission. Any negative behavior or violation to the rules stated above may impact my application to Reed College.

In case of an emergency and if the emergency contact cannot be reached, I authorize a representative of Reed College to consent to any medical treatment or care deemed advisable. I am aware that medical assistance cannot be provided by the college's health center.

If you are under 18, a copy of the overnight agreement will be sent to your parent email address to be submitted.
