Admission

The Reed College Admissions Office will be closed in observance of Juneteenth on Thursday, June 19th, and Friday, June 20th. 

Campus Visit 

Prospective students are welcome to join us for a campus tour and an information session, an introduction to Reed where an admission counselor will talk about our academic philosophy, the value of a liberal arts education, our approach to grading, typical student life experiences, exploring Portland, and more.

Campus Tour and Information Session (2 hours) 

The Reed College Admissions Office will be closed in observance of Juneteenth on Thursday, June 19th, and Friday, June 20th.

Monday to Friday - 9am and 2pm
Saturdays - 10:30am (September-November; February-April only)

Registration for fall visits will open in early August. If you would like to inquire about availability for a specific date prior to that, or have any further questions about fall visits, please email the Office of Admission at campus.visit@reed.eduor call us at 503-777-7511.

Campus visits may not be offered on holidays and event days. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Interviews 

High school seniors, high school juniors in their second semester, and transfer students are invited to interview when they visit campus. Please indicate your interest in interviewing on the registration form. We offer interviews on weekday visits; if you're registering for a Saturday visit we recommend a virtual interview or emailing us to set up a weekday in-person interview. Counselor Visits

Are you a high school, independent, or CBO counselor interested in learning more about Reed? Please register for a campus visit here. 

Class Visits

Class visits are available to current seniors and transfer students during the core academic periods—specifically, starting a few weeks after each semester begins and ending a few weeks before the semester concludes.

Overnight Visits

Overnight visits are available for current seniors on select dates during the academic year.
