Prospective students exploring Reed's campus in the fall of 2016.

Thank you for applying for this year's Junior Scholars Program. Students who apply for the Junior Scholars Program are juniors/rising seniors in high school (class of 2022), live in the United States, and are from a historically underrepresented racial or ethnic background. This is a fully free, virtual program to provide students insight into Reed College.

Important: Before you fill out the form, take some time to formulate your essay response, as you will not be able to save this form and return at a later time.

Required Essay 1: Reed offers students an extraordinary environment in which to discover their passions and pursue them with depth and determination; what is one of your passions and how have you pursued it? (250-500 words)

You will be required to upload a current unofficial high school transcript as part of this application, and an activities list/resume is optional.

Junior Scholars applications are due by Friday, August 13. Please contact flyin@reed.edu with any questions.
