On-Campus Visit

Thank you for your interest in visiting Reed! On-campus visits last 90 minutes and include an outdoor campus tour and a meeting with an Admission Counselor. Visits are available to prospective students who have submitted an application and up to one guest per applicant. Please note that additional required materials (transcript(s), letters of recommendation, etc.) may be submitted at a later date.

To protect the health and safety of our community and our guests, visitors must adhere to the following protocols while on the Reed campus:
  1. Face coverings are required to be worn by visitors at all times while on campus.
  2. Visitors are to maintain a minimum 6’ physical distance from others while on campus.
To access Reed’s campus, all persons must complete the Reed Daily Health Check on the day they plan to come to campus, prior to arrival. A link to the Daily Health Check will be provided to you via email the day before your visit. Upon completing the Daily Health Check, you will receive either a GO or STOP indicator. All visitors must show proof of their GO indicator upon arrival on campus. If you receive a STOP or are unable to show proof of your GO, you will not be able to access campus.

To schedule your visit, select your preferred date and time on the calendar below. Please note that all times are listed in Pacific Daylight Time.

In-person campus visits are being offered in accordance with federal, state, and local guidelines. The Reed College campus is currently closed to the public, and visitors must be hosted by a Reed community member at all times. For the safety of our community and guests, walk-in visits and self-guided campus tours are not permitted at this time. In the interest of community safety, campus tours may be subject to cancellation with limited notice.

November 16, 2020:
In accordance with current state guidance, from November 18 to December 2, on campus visits are restricted to applicants residing within the state of Oregon and applicants who have been within the state for a minimum of 14 days. If you meet this criteria and would like to schedule a visit, please contact us to learn more. Reed will continue to follow state guidance as it unfolds; currently we plan to resume visits for out-of-state applicants on December 3.

We encourage prospective students who have not yet applied to connect with us virtually. Our admission team offers virtual visit options daily which allow you to connect with members of our community from a distance. Explore our website for more details.
